10000% recommend!!!! The staff is super nice, and coffee... omg the coffee.... you can smell it from the street, and it's glorious, the house blend is my favorite, is roasted in the house, so they have entire control over the process which guarantees quality, the prices are insanely low, and the coffee... omg the coffee. I can't stop talking about the coffee! I had 2 americano, the first one was the house blend and the second one was Brazilian blend, I loved both!! The house blend has more body, is not bitter at all it has a sweet aftertaste and is almost creamy, the Brazilian blend has sweetness to it, feels a bit more acidic but not in a bad way, super tasty, we also had banana pie, and let me tell you, IT WAS BANGING, if you are in madeira this is a must, specially if you love coffee, and if you are not close, well drive there and have amazing coffee,make yourself a favor

I ordered a cappuccino and it was beautifully made, the coffee has a delicious taste, but I also tried my brother's coffee (both of them) and they were so delicious!!! I'm not a coffee expert, but I'm a coffee appreciator and Gato's coffee is (to my knowledge and opinion) the best coffee in the Island. If you are in Madeira and you love coffee please go to Gato Legal in Ponta do Pargo and give yourself a treat, you will not regret it! You should also try the Banana tart (tarte de banana) it was my first and it was so yummy!!!
