A fantastic, top-notch restaurant in the middle of a seemingly quiet village. The restaurant and it's welcoming atmosphere comes with a lovely view towards the sea. The staff is super professional, everyone speaks fluent English and is friendly to the bone. Our main dishes were sea bass and vegan pasta, and no fault could be found in either. The final bill - with coffees, wines, desserts and all that stuff - amounted to less than 50 euros, so the prices there are very reasonable, too. We popped in around half past five after hiking the Pedregal - Ponta do Pargo levada during the day, and were politely instructed to sit down and order a drink, as they told us the kitchen didn't open before six. The chef came in ahead of time, though, and we placed our orders quite quickly after being seated. All in all a very pleasant experience, the best bit being the waiting staff. Worth mentioning are also the clean facilities all around - the toilets, for example, were fancy and markably spotless. A very warm recommendation if you're anywhere...

Fantastic all round, excellent location, view, service, variety, bar, wine and cuisine. Traditional Portuguese/Madeiran food with home-cooked flavour, beautifully presented. Well worth a trip to Ponta do Pargo. Stunning sunset from the restaurant. Parking options in front of the restaurant as well as to the rear. Disabled parking bay also available right at the entrance with step free access. WC spacious and clean. Bar is well stocked and wine display is stunning. Gorgeous cork displays in house, preserving the culture and pride. 🇵🇹♡

Well done to the team, can't wait to visit again and work our way through the menu.

Espada & Espetada together with boiled Madeiran potatoes is 100% a must. Veggie sides tastes incredible, must've been home grown and picked on the same day. Stunning flavours.

Thank you for capturing the Madeiran essence and presenting...

Very disappointed with this place. The waiter was rude, he made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I asked him if they had any drinks menu and he simply replied “no”. After an awkward silence he added “you can check for yourself the wine fridge or have a soft drink..”. After that, the food was the worst we had during the whole trip. We ordered the Scabbard fish which tasted really dull and the vegetables were plain boiled frozen ones, the steak was also quite bad. It’s a shame that the restaurant has a gorgeous view, but it also closes at 9 p.m. meaning exactly at sunset?? How is this possible when it’s located right in the best spot for sunsets? Don’t bother coming here, there are lots of good places to eat in Madeira where the staff treats you properly and the food is way better. This place is...

Had an amazing meal with my family in September. This restaurant is usually very busy so best to book your table in advance as they have fewer tables due to covid. We ordered some starters including lapas and bolo do caco, both of which were delicious. For the main, I decided to go with their daily special, Lamb Shank. It was absolutely delicious, could not fault it one bit. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth, the meat slid off the bone, and there was plenty of gravy. They also have an extensive wine selection available displayed in a see-through cooler with the prices which I found was a lovely touch to the restaurant. All the staff were fantastic and great knowledge of the products. If you get a seat near the window, you can see the sea, which is even more beautiful at sunset.

We went there after read some opinions in Google. Place seemed to be quite and good not over priced. On arrival first shock are how elegant place it is, second are prices which are quite high for food. Starters from 6,50€ and mains at least 10,50€. Huge minus for lack of drinks menu but drinks were in nice prices. Egg soup really delicate, seems to be 'poor' but has it owns datisfying thyme and olive taste - really nice. Tuna steak it wasn't a steak - fried for maximum... huge mistake and waste of meat... Grilled limpets very tasty but served on an old and dirty, burned and full of soot pan, but it could be perfect. Ice creams - seems to be homemade and really nice.
