The lapas (limpets) have to be the best in Madeira ... good size and the sauce was delicious (we have eaten in 4 other restaurants in Madeira 😉). The good-sized BBQ Chicken Wings were beautifully done with a sweetish and creamy sauce. We liked the Seafood Rice (Arroz de Mariscos) as it was tasty and the serving was good. Great if the crab sticks were omitted as they tasted floury. We hope to order the Steak Land and Sea (Home style) and the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce on our next visit.

Btw, providing two bites of chocolates is a beautiful touch to a nice meal. Tchau for now! 🥰

PS If prefer a more spicy sauce, ask for the Gallo Piri-piri com Azeite. It gives a nice kick...

Some of the most delicious food we had in Madeira! Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was amazing, they accommodated our large group of 8. Seemed to be enjoyed by many locals aswell.

Staff were very helpful and had photos of all the menu items on an ipad for those unsure of what they were ordering. Would highly reccomended the garlic shrimp, the 'black feathered pig'? (I think it was called), and the seafood pasta was simply luscious! Generous portions sizes too, couldn't finish...

We were expecting something local but it was just a tourist trap. The worst food we had on Madeira… Poncha was good. The waiter was polite and nice, but with this i end the good part. Frozen potatoes (not horrible but expect fast food quality). The espada was average and the tuna steak tasted just like canned tuna and it was from supermarket 100%.
