This restaurant is an absolute gem in Madeira! Please ignore all the negative / average comments. Honestly I don’t know where these are coming from ☺️

The location is incredible, with stunning views of the ocean and sunsets that are simply unforgettable. We enjoyed it so much that we visited 3-4 times during our trip (we honestly lost count) because it was just that good!

If you’re looking for the best place to try fresh fish, look no further. The quality and freshness of the food are outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get which is FRESH fish cooked on a barbecue for you.

The staff made our experience even better, especially Puma, who is an absolute delight! Full of humour and natural warmth, Puma gave my husband the best recommendations for cocktails, fish, and even desserts. Speaking of desserts, the cheesecake was a standout—my husband declared it the best he’s ever had in his life! Thank you Puma 👍🏻☺️

For the main courses, I highly recommend going for the fresh fish. I had amberjack on one visit and parrot fish on another—both were phenomenal. My husband loved the octopus and triggerfish he tried, and we both agreed the fried cuttlefish was a must-have—such incredible flavour if you’re into seafood!

All in all, this was our favourite restaurant in Madeira, and we’ll absolutely return the next time we visit. Don’t miss it—you won’t be disappointed!

I also tried the grilled triggerfish, which was an equally delightful experience. Its smoky, chargrilled flavor complemented the firm yet flaky texture of the fish. The dish was paired with simple but well-executed sides that enhanced the overall meal.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with friendly staff who were happy to make recommendations and ensure everything was to our liking. You can tell they take pride in serving fresh, high-quality seafood.
