Very nice atmosphere with an indoor and outdoor dining area. The decor is Asian like and fresh. The restaurant is clean and feels new, which is definitely a plus.

I’ve been to Mâide several times and really enjoyed the Nasi Goreng. However, for brunch the eggs Benedict with bread and salmon didn’t convince me at all in terms of flavour, perhaps because of the bread. I recommend toasting the bread to make it sort of crunchy. The food also left me feeling a bit queasy afterwards. Maybe the eggs Benedict version with croissant instead of bread is better.

The açai bowl with fruit is good and served with plenty of quantity, perfect for breakfast. Pancakes are okay.

I also tried the pad Thai once and the quality is nowhere near the pad Thais I’ve had before. Sorry but you need to improve your pad Thai recipe, because it’s definitely lacking soul. The noodles used for the pad Thai should be of better quality too.

The waiters are super nice and the food is served quite quickly. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant and the...

Do not order the ramen - great burgers.

Vegetarian ramen - the soupbase tasted as if a whole bottle of soysauce was accidentally tipped into the bowl. The onsen eggs were salted (I have never tasted actual salt on a soft-boiled egg in the countless bowls of ramen I have had in my life), and was not cooked in flavored soup (hence no browness on the outer edge of the egg white). Seaweed was already soggy at the time of serving. The noodles were not ramen... Ramen is truly an art of its own, and takes lots of practice and training to make. With respect, I don't think Maide should keep serving ramen.

On the other hand, the vegetarian burger and fries were delicious! The bun was toasty and buttery, lovely caramelized onions and black bean patty. Flat white was okay.

The staff was helpful and kindly replaced the ramen with a vegetarian burger, after I expressed disappointment. All in all, a good restaurant and experience, if you order the...

As a regular client here is my honest review:

Good: -finally a good capuchino at town with no dairy option. -Comfortable place to stay with option to work in your laptop,

-friendly staff.

Bad: -They open late (10am)

-i love their Benedict egg with bacon unfortunately they're very greedy with hollandaise sauce they barely put this souce and when you ask for more the charge you extra.

there's just one staff serving really sweet girl but should have one more because it takes ages to serve. it's everything too slow.

If you've been to Asia please don't try their asian dishes, otherwise you will feel absolutely disappointed. at the beginning the pad Thai was pretty good, but now it's terrible i can't even call a pad Thai. it's extremely sweet, very dry (no souce), ingredients are not for a pad Thai, etc. also the shrimp curry it's a very liquid sauce when this must be creamy. Nasi goreng it's...

Ever since moving to Cascais, we have agreed that Mâide is one of our favorite places to eat. We love that is not in the town center, but is still easy to get to. The atmosphere is modern and very well appointed. But most of all, the food is spectacular! I would categorize it as Asian & South American fusion. Every dish I have had here for any time of day has been so good and beautifully presented. I believe the prices are set correctly for the value and the location. I made a reservation for 8 and arrived a few minutes early. They were ready for us and seated us immediately. The server was stellar and spoke very good English if your Portuguese is not so good yet! I recommend Mâide 100%!

We arrived 40 minutes before closing, so they said we had to order for take away which is fair enough. Anyway, we didn't order much but they forgot my chips which was unfortunate as I had to pay extra for them. I went back and they discussed it amongst themselves for a while and then gave me a refund which took a good few minutes. No apology. The food itself was not nice. None of us enjoyed ourselves. The burger was pink, the poke bowl was sloppy and wet. The bao bun was nice but the meat was 50% fat. My aunty had been here in the past as she lives in the area but she agrees that it's gone downhill overall. I'd not recommend this restaurant to others.
