Been coming to this place for the past year and my husband always gets a Moscow mule and it has never looked pink almost like a grapefruit color like the picture. NEVER! But because my husband didn’t want to complain he said he would take a pic and show it to her when it was time to pay that the drink he got was actually the Paloma which included a grapefruit. Not the Moscow mule which it’s usually a clear color. Basically, all we asked if for us to get charged for what we got.
When it was time to cash out I told her that hey the drink we got was the Paloma and not the Moscow mule and I showed her the cup how it had the grapefruit plumps on it. Her excuse was, that’s actually lime. Huh? Since when does lime have a pink color? And since when does the lime has so much plump?. But yet she insisted on arguing with us and saying how she put the dried lime slice there like that’s what makes it a Moscow mule.
Again, we have been coming here for more than a year and never had this experience. Not sure if they changed management but this is not ok. And my guess is they probably do this so that way they will charge the costumer more than what they got. Moscow mule was €8.50 and Paloma was €7.50 and if they do this with every costumer that’s extra money on their pockets.
I know majority of costumers are tourists and when you are on vacation you don’t pay attention to your recipes but that’s not the case for us. Again we have been going to them for more than a year.
I don’t care about the €1 ( they actually lost more money from us in the long run) but it’s the principle of her insulting our intelligence, like we don’t know what we get or been getting for a very long time.
And no, just because you put a dried slice of lime in there that don’t make it a mosow mule.
And you never argue with a costumer! And clearly she has missed that lesson being in this industry.
We have heard how they try to do Americans Because they think Americans are rich and this shows how they are doing this to Americans. I didnt want to believe this but the facts are here and we can see it clearly l. So if you go here speaking English, be careful and look at your receipt.

Read morePaco Bigotes is a Mexican restaurant beside the Sao Pedro do Estoril station. When we arrived we had to wait for around 30 minutes for a table. During this wait we were able to sit in their partnered bar just down the road. When our table was ready we could bring our drinks with us which was very handy. The food we ordered was fantastic. The nachos and guacamole were vegan and the guacamole was extremely fresh and zesty. The Vegan 'meat' taco uses seitan and is delicious. I was uncertain about pineapple in a taco but combining this with the homemade hot sauce was absolutely class. I ate two portions of them and I would advise this for anyone with a big appetite. We also shared the vegan avocado and lime cheesecake which was definitely something different! The flavour really grew on me the more of it I ate. The drinks menu was quite expensive and I found the mango and chilli margarita super tasty and was the perfect mix between a strong drink and a punchy flavour. The restaurant was busy but our server Tomas was very helpful and attentive. Even giving us a round of tequila and a takeaway of their homemade hot sauce (which is absolutely awesome by the way). If you like Tacos and Margaritas you will love it here, hope I get to...
Read moreI m Mexican and I'm giving my review according to what I know and my taste.
We had queso fundido, very nice. Tostada de atún, well served tostada with enough tuna for two people. Enchiladas were tasty, not too spicy but savoury. Tacos de birria, the meat was good and similar taste to what you would have in Mexico. But in my opinion too much cheese. There should be a choice. Tacos gobernador, very nice but the same issue with the cheese. We also had the ceviche tropical. I was expecting a Mexican ceviche, but the taste is completely different. With milk and mango. It was sour. I was disappointed and couldn't eat it. It is a personal opinion of course, but I was expecting a Mexican ceviche in a Mexican restaurant, that's all. I had a margarita, average.
We talked to the waitress about the ceviche and she was so kind to check and offer us some churros.
Churros are a big portion, very nice! But it was a pity they don't serve them with real cajeta. Very nice idea serving them in a molcajete!
All in all it is a nice Mexican restaurant for the area. I would come back for some enchiladas and...
