Esplanada de São Pedro — Restaurant in Cascais

The service was so bad we didn't even stay long enough to order anything. I don't know who owns this place but they need to train their staff before they go out of business. It took them ages to acknowledge us waiting to be seated and when we were, we felt instantly like a nuisance to them. We were left with menus and upon picking what we wanted, it took 20 minutes before a waiter felt like coming over to take our order. Before we gave him our order, we asked for the parasol at our table to be opened (like all the others) because the sun was coming out. The arrogant and poorly mannered waiter shrugged and said no because the table next to us wanted to 'sun bathe'. The lads at the table next to us were perfectly happy for the parasol to be opened and even told the waiter that if they had wanted to sun bathe, they would have used the gorgeous beach in front of them to do so. Still the waiter couldn't be arsed to do it. I was literally stunned by his laziness and complete lack of interest in his job, so we all just got up (we were a table of 7 placements) and left... Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money...

Eu tentei frequentar o espaço duas vezes, a primeira com família para uma refeição e a segunda hoje de manhã sozinha. O Espaço é excelente, a comida não é má e tenho realmente pena porque fica perto de casa e pensei que a experiência fosse agradável. A equipa é um desastre e o atendimento foi mau das duas vezes, mas tão mau hoje que me motivou a dispensar tempo para esta exposição. Fui atendida por uma funcionária que, sem sorrir, olhava para mim fixamente, de cima a baixo sem sorrir. Que me viu esperar largos minutos junto ao dito "ponto de espera", sem interagir, para depois me dizer que eu podia só sentar-me. Eu ia com intenções de tomar o pequeno almoço, mas esperei muito tempo para receber a lista. Os funcionários viam-me, mas ninguém se dirigia à mesa. Acabei por tomar apenas um café, ja estava a ficar atrasada. E o estabelecimento não estava cheio. Quando paguei, tive de pagar em dinheiro, não aceitavan multibanco. Mas ninguém me trouxe o troco. Esperei, fazendo contacto visual com a funcionária, mas ela ignorava-me. Tive de ser eu a ir questionar se se tinha esquecido de mim. Perante a pergunta a senhora mostrou-se ainda mais arrogante, roçando a má educação. Tive de esperar que o colega dela fizesse o troco. Pois ela não o fez. É uma pena, que como clientes tenhamos de lidar com este tipo de profissionais. Há pessoas extremamente competentes à espera de uma oportunidade. Talvez fosse vantajoso para a vossa sustentabilidade, reforçar a equipa com realmente pessoas competentes, bem educadas e minimamente atenciosas. Fui em busca de uma boa experiência e saí de...

I have been there for year this restaurant is the lowest quality you can imagine of, everything is microwave, if it wasn't for it being in front of the beach this place would go bankrupt in 5 days, are you that greedy for money? And you really cannot make just normal food?
