Flora and fauna is a unique restaurant in the Parede area and the menu has a lot of variety including some fantastic vegan options. The food has a focus on health and nutrition which is combined perfectly with excellent presentation and delicious flavour. The food really can't be faulted at all! The atmosphere was buzzing especially for a Sunday with lots of families and events. The decor is wonderful with lots of rustic elements and plants everywhere befitting the name. The Portovegan was delicious, the avocado was extremely fresh and the layered roasted tomatoes were fantastic. The Vegan Nest was also wonderful, the kataifi nest worked very well with the baked avocado. Once again the dish was overall fantastic, would definitely recommend either of the dishes mentioned above and would love to come back and try some of the other vegan options 😊 The staff were very friendly but one of our other dishes came down cold and the staff member refuted the fact the food was supposed to be hot. In the end she replaced the meal with a hot replacement but I felt some hesitation which was disappointing. I will say that the restaurant was completely packed which may have factored into this. Overall I would definitely advise coming here and trying it out 😁

This place is lovely, great decor, big windows looking out towards the beach, boho brunch vibe. The waiters are also friendly, service is fast. Tends to be busy but at 5pm it's fine. We ordered the Thaio bowl, the Ninho with avocado and salmon, and for drinks artisanal beer plus the juice of the day. The drinks were very nice, real fruit and really tasty IPA. The Thaio bowl was the better dish, better balance of flavours. The rice and chicken were great. The Ninho was tasty but too fatty, avocado and smoked salmon and egg yolk with sesame seeds but nothing acid/tart to cut the fattiness. The ninho was dry and tasteless and could be used better. Tasty overall but needed more thought flavourwise. Beautiful presentation. Just needs slightly more seasoning and better balance of flavours to get 5 stars from me. I would go again!

Located near the ocean, it appears to be one of the best places for having tasty and "healthy" brunches. It proposes a variety of choices for donuts (as big as toasts), bowls, pancakes, croissants, toasts, coffee and other drinks. The portions are quite big, and it is not an easy thing to finish two portions of something. The service is good and fast, waiters are polite. The interior is cauzy and comfortable, however not the chairs, it is a torture to sit on those woden-metal logs (tip: there are a couple of soft chairs) invented by devil. It seems like, those chairs are crying: "we don't want you to stay here for longer, badass." Parking is also the other challenge, however, there are some lots at the nearby streets.

The café itself was nice — the halloumi bagel was tasty, the coffee was good, and the service was friendly.

But I would NEVER RECOMMEND ordering the Farmer Bowl. I honestly don’t know how it’s possible, but it was awful. As soon as it arrived, it had a terrible smell — so bad that even our kids had to move away because they couldn’t sit next to it. It smelled like spoiled food or garbage. Just horrible.

We think it was the sauce soaked into the black rice — but it wasn’t just a personal opinion. My husband, our children, and I all felt the same.

I don’t understand how the management allowed this dish to be served. Something really needs to be done about it.

Everything else was okay, but this one dish ruined the whole experience for us. It’s a shame, because the place had potential. I...
