Simply amazing, the food and the experience.
Very welcoming staff from the offset, smiling faces and very friendly. It was early so we had our choice of seating and chose to sit in front of the pizza oven. You can see it from anywhere in the restaurant but we wanted to see the chef working which was fun in its own right.
The food is delicious. A simple menu but a nice selection of your usual options… then there is the others. We had a Mushroom Risotto with garlic that made my mouth water. Additionally, we had a Pizza that had figs, ham, walnuts, honey and parmesan cheese. A strange concoction I thought, but boy was I educated. A joy to eat!
Traditional desserts but also extremely yummy, I mean who doesn’t like chocolate, right?
The pizzas are great for a lunch time snack or a main meal if you add a little side or a dessert. Either way, a trip here won’t be forgotten...
Read moreVisited Pizza on the Beach Carcavelos on a Thursday leading up to Christmas. We arrived early (around 18:30) and found them still closed. They saw us outside and informed us that they were happy to open a little early for us despite their dinner hours being 19:00.
The menu offers a variety of options for everyone, including two vegan pizzas. They also accommodate allergies, as I am allergic to dairy and they readily replaced the mozzarella cheese for me with vegan cheese. The pizzas were incredible, the best we've had in Lisbon! The crust was thin and crispy, and the ingredients were extremely fresh.
The service was prompt and attentive, and all staff was very friendly.

Read moreI came in today to place a to-go order. I kept asking them when it would be ready and finally left after waiting for 35 minutes, leaving them the 25€ for my order. They told me they had tables to serve before my to-go order, which doesn't make sense because nobody wants to wait 45 minutes standing in the entrance for a to-go order. Advice to the manager: prioritize making to-go orders before dine-in orders so customers don't have to wait forever. Also, inform customers in advance if there will be a 45-minute wait for to-go orders. Request to the owner: consider donate my 25€ to charity. Advice to the cook: wear gloves. Maybe a good pizzeria but I guess...
