Starbucks — Restaurant in Cascais

In the past it was a calm and clean place to drink some coffee and live the Starbucks culture while resting or working. Nowadays this Starbucks inside Cascais shopping is noisy and really dirty, most of the times the store does not have a lot of customers (which does not happen in other stores in Lisbon that are always full and with lots of movement) and there are some employees available but they are just chatting or playing behind the balcony instead of getting things done or having the store clean. Basically the staff just don’t care about their workplace. The prices went higher during the pandemic but the quality of service dropped. Sometime I still go drink an expresso and there’s always garbage in the tables or the floor is dirty (photos from last visit), but it is just sad for people that went there in the past. Unfortunately I give low rating, if you want quality go to Starbucks Rossio store...

I ordered in this place through Uber Eats, and beside the fact that taste of food was absolutely awful, the tuna sandwich was taste like something you can find in toilet, the quiche was literally taste like paper, nothing nice in it, the strawberry frappuccino was ok, but came to me melted, but ok, whatever, I can stay with it, but the whole awful thing was about I ordered everything else only to have a salted caramel muffin, but instead of putting into my order caramel muffin, they putted a chocolate one, and I hate chocolate, I totally don't like chocolate, I paid 7 euros in total for delivery and service fee to receive in the end a chocolate muffin instead of caramel one, awful service, awful place,...

If I could rate this a ZERO I would. The extremely rude barista named Ricardo ruined our entire day by coming to our table and shouting at us, and he told us in a disgustingly rude manner to be quiet as we were ‘laughing too loudly’ and that we were ‘disturbing his work’ and that ‘everyone is staring at you’ which was not true, we were laughing at a normal tone. Ricardo was obviously taking his bad mood out on us which is completely unprofessional. This is a starbucks, not a library. I would not recommend going to this starbucks unless you want to be told to shut up.
