Pray the legend was born the famous brochette meats here, emblematic specialty of the island. Straits of the Chamber of Wolves is a freguesiaportuguesa of the council of Chamber of Wolves, with 8,14 square miles of area 10 and 269 inhabitants (2011). Your population density is 1 hab/km 261.5 square. North is a 32.667 latitude (°3240) and a longitude 16,9833 (16°59 ") West being at an altitude of 460 metres. In the Chamber of Wolves one of the older regional roads exists, connecting you to the council of the Brave Sacra and the Funchal. The main activities are agriculture and construction. It borders the clientele of Chamber of Wolves to south and west, with the customers of the Garden of the Ridge to the north with the clientele of Quinta Grande west and with the council of the Funchal east. I was raised to the category of village in 1994. There is the mountains to the north, where some of the naughty ones in Madeira are put water courses they use the force of gravity for use of local agriculture. The clientele is famous for the production of Madeira Wine - maybe the clientele who produces throughout the Region and for the “Brochette” - beef in a parrot spike

Unfortunately our experience was not a good one despite the high number of reviews. Notice: The restaurant is on the second floor without an elevator so it is not suitable for elderly people or people with disabilities. I keep the review short. The garlic bread was OK! Both the meat skewer and chicken skewer were "very" salty (we could only eat them with the wine)! The fried corn cubes were super greasy and we could only eat a few cubes! The salad was not fresh and was soaked in olive oil and balsamico (would be nice if they were served separately so we could decide how much to add). The only good thing was the fries with oregano. The waiter was polite and did his best communicating in English. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Die Karte ist wirklich übersichtlich, man beschränkt sich fast vollständig auf Espetadas - und das in Reinkultur! Während man in Funchal und anderen Touristenhochburgen auf Madeira nur noch einen Schaschlik-Spiess bekommt, der irgendwie aufrecht an den Tisch gebracht und dort dann "aufgehangen" wird, bekommt man hier noch die Schmiedeeiserne Halterung im Tisch und, auf Wunsch, Metall- oder auch die traditionellen Loorbeer-Stecken mit Fleisch. Dienstags abends sitzen hier locker 40-50 Personen im (einfachen) Gastraum, viele Einheimische, ein paar Touristen. Service ist immer freundlich und nett gewesen. Das Ambiente ist, sagen wir "rustikal" und das meine ich absolut positiv. Man sitzt im Gastraum. Punkt! Für meine Frau und mich, ist das "As vides" eines der wahren, madeirensischen Restaurants. Ehrlich, lecker, bodenständig. Absolut super! Wer das volle Programm möchte, kann die Espetadas nach kg abgerechnet bestellen oder auch einzelne Exemplare. Als Beilagen gibt es hausgemachte Pommes, fritierte Polenta mit Oregano (Klassiker) oder Salat. Tip: nehmt alles! Bolo de Caco dazu (das Süsskartoffel-Knoblauchbrot, mMn das beste der Insel!) und ihr seid glücklich. Positiv ebenfalls: ihr bekommt nicht einfach alle Espetadas zusammen, sondern nach und nach: Fleisch bleibt heiss, jeweils frisch gegrillt. Das benötigt auch keine Aufforderung an den Service, sondern ist hier Standard. Qualität spricht für sich! Das Fleisch ist super zart und von sehr guter Qualität. Wir kommen nun seit ca. 15 Jahren unregelmässig nach Madeira und wurden hier noch nie enttäuscht. Tipp: Nehmt unbedingt die Loorbeer-Stecken. Kosten ca. 2 Euro mehr, der Geschmack ist aber unvergleichlich besser.

Notice: The restaurant is on the second floor without an elevator so it is not suitable for elderly people or people with disabilities. I keep the review short. The garlic bread was OK!
