Restaurante "Taberna Do JULIO" — Restaurant in Entroncamento

We ate here two nights in a row because the food was excellent and the server so very helpful. There was no menu so he explained (in Portuguese) our choices for each evening. The first night we had carne (meat - in this case pork and beef) and the second we opted for peixe (fish). Just a remarkable place and we plan to visit again the next time...

Unglaublich!! ...nun ist ja Entroncamento ganz eindeutig kein Ort, dessen Charme sich dem Besucher sofort erschließt.

Aber hier in der Taberna Do Julio, hier findet Gastfreundschaft statt.

Ein freundlicher, zugewandter (und erstaunlich polyglotter) Gastgeber bringt hier Speisen unverwechselbarer Qualität und Authentizität auf den Tisch. Hausmannskost auf höchstem Niveau.

Respekt und MUITO OBRIGADO!

...ganz besonders zusätzlich erwähnenswert auch sein hausgemachtes Piri-Piri, das einfach unschlagbar lecker ist und mit allen Fisch- und Fleischgerichten optimal harmoniert.

Achtung, nicht leicht zu finden/erkennen. Diese Gastwirtschaft ist äußerlich nicht sofort offensichtlich als Gastronomie erkennbar.

Traveled to Golega for the horse fair. Found this local bar restaurant the other evening. Came back for a second time. The food excellent and even though we have no Portuguese the staff have been so helpful. Lots of laughs with wine...
