Sabores das Maltezas — Restaurant in Estremoz

We came to Sabores das Maltezas to have the highly recommended vegan burger, however, looking at the menu I saw a vegan toasted sandwich (vegan cheese, pineapple and banana) which piqued my interest. We ended up sharing the toastie and the vegan burger and Oh My Word!! I was blown away. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, and definitely the best toastie I’ve had since going vegan. The chef also makes a vegan panacotta but unfortunately she was sold out when we went. We will just have to go back another day...

I like this cafe and the food and usually the staff and we always go for lunch when at the market. But today we had the rudest waitress on the outside terrace. We were all shocked by such sloppy service and the back chat if you dared to complain. We had to sit with all the used crockery in front of us after our meal until we left as our punishment.
