Bella Vitta Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Fafe

I had heard about this restaurant and was curious about it. Overall the experience fell bellow expectations. Wine list - way too short with only Lambrusco and another sparkling (not Prosecco) as italian wines. Being an italian restaurant should have, at least, a couple of italian wines, including Prosecco… We were greeted by a friendly staff and asked if we would like to have the welcome drink of the house - Aperol Spritzer - to which we said yes. Was nice but overly sweet… Menu - nice with some interesting pastas and pizzas options. Starters should be a bit more complete. So we asked for some garlic bread (that was nice) and a Insalata Caprese (only 4 slices of tomato and mozzarella!) that usually is not served as a starter… For main we asked for a Risotto al Funghi con Porcini, Spaghetti al Pesto, Spaghetti Ragu and Linguine Carbonara. They were good, but lacking a “wow” factor. Then came the desserts, which left us a disappointing feeling. The Profiteroles look like those we can buy on a major supermarket and the worst of it was the Panna Cotta. Completely tasteless only with a slight taste of milk. It was falling apart just from moving the plate… heart broken! The staff is friendly although a bit inexperience - the way they hold the wine glasses when pouring, the way they pick up everything from the table before serving the main courses, etc The room is nice but too tight between tables making almost impossible to serve or to seat at ease. O espaço estéticamente é muito agradável assim como a comida é boa!

Contudo, existe uma funcionária que é extremamente rude e que deixou todas as pessoas do jantar (14 pessoas) incomodadas com o serviço de atendimento, desde o inicio até ao final do jantar. A situação foi escalando para momentos de péssimo profissionalismo por parte da funcionária em questão, nomedamente :

perguntou se era preciso mais sangria, ao mesmo tempo, colocou dois dedos dentro do jarro de sangria, o que deu um péssimo aspeto, passando um aspeto de pouca higiéne a todos os presentes; durante o jantar foi criando um problema à volta de como iriamos pagar a conta; no momento de efetuarmos o pagamento, referiu repetitivamente que se fosse como ela estava a impingir, era mais prático e fácil para ela, contudo para nós clientes era muito mais díficl e incomodo, até que me direcionei ao balcão e lhe disse que em muitos restaurantes conseguimos pagar a conta em separado e não é preciso tanto alvoroço, ao qual me respondeu que assim lhe facilitava a vida, e eu como cliente disse que no meu trabalho procuro facilitar as coisas aos meus clientes e que lhe ficava muito mal o grande problema que estava a gerar em torno disto; passado este momento as restantes pessoas foram pagar e continuava a dizer que assim não lhe facilitamos a vida e que foi maltratada. Considero que nós é que fomos maltrados por esta pessoa em questão.

Como cliente, isto foi um péssimo atendimento, esta pessoa nunca na vida poderá estar a servir ao cliente porque de 14 pessoas, todas disseram que não voltavam devido ao atendimento, sendo que, reforço que isto não é nem a primeira nem a segunda vez que acontece com esta funcionária em questão. We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten en hun Douro huiswijn is erg lekker. Zowel de rode als ook de witte. Bij aankonmst krijg je een bakje met een paar olijfjes en een heerlijke tonijnsalade. Wij hadden 2 verschillende pizza's besteld en gedeeld en daar een salade caprese bij genomen. Deze was lekker maar er mag best iets minder rucola op. Als desert hadden we beiden de tiramisu en als afsluiter kregen we nog een limoncello aangeboden. De bediening was heel vriendelijk, maar we vonden ze een beetje gejaagd overkomen.
