Dinner was ok, lunch was good, the dessert was bad. I told them that the dessert was not good and they insisted on charging me for it even though I didn’t eat it all. The woman there is quite rude, never smiles and creates a negative energy. The man serving in the evening was great. It’s a mixed place but not one that I’d recommend. Charging money for my bad dessert was more important to them than a positive customer experience so not the style of establishment that suits me. That woman really is not happy working...

Check your order... possible trap.

Good at lunch time. Dish of the day is at a nice price. Dinner is kind of pricy for what you get. Food is decent but not brilliant with a looooonnnngggg wait. We waited 1:30h...

On a second time, we were quite traped at dinner... almost 10 euros in sides not ordered... check the bill you might be charged for a salad you thought came with the dish, or some French fries.. all charged as extras without mention from the staff...

We visited Café International in Horta as a large family of seven and had a wonderful dining experience. The Azorean specialties were delicious, fresh, and authentic. The owner himself gave us excellent recommendations that perfectly matched our taste. We felt completely welcome and comfortable throughout the evening and can highly recommend Café International to anyone...
