A place is considered one of the best and often visited by residents in Horta. Soo… if this is the best place then I feel sorry for the residents. I ordered half portion of lapas - she agreed for that. Then of course I needed to pay for the whole portion as I heard during the payment that they do not serve half portions. Warm welcome on arrival. Food delicious and generous portions. Husband said the size and taste of the squid was best he has ever had, anywhere in the world, and we have travelled a lot. Unfortunately, this place just isn't it. We were a group of 4, that orded cheeses, steak, and cod. The cheeses were actually great, but the fish and steak were pretty awful. I had to chew my steak 20 times each bite, and I ordered a medium rare. The fish was strange and the skin was so burnt and charred.
