During our stay on the island of Faial, we had the pleasure of dining at Chef Renata’s family-run restaurant – an experience that left a lasting impression. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, reflecting the personal touch and care that goes into every detail.

Renata's daughter, who manages the service, was exceptionally attentive and friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt comfortable and satisfied, fulfilling every request with genuine warmth.

The food was outstanding. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat lover, you'll find something to enjoy. The vegetarian dishes were creative and flavorful, and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection – just as ordered. You can clearly sense the talent and passion behind the kitchen, with every dish showcasing a unique idea and careful execution.

Despite the high quality, the prices are very reasonable by German standards. The wine list is extensive, with a strong focus on regional options and helpful recommendations to match your meal.
