Jovem — Restaurant in Idanha-a-Nova

I spent here one dinner with 3 friends. That’s the only experience I had here. We took a few dishes/ side dishes/ drinks: rice, chips, bacon steak, cooked mushrooms over bread, olives, bread and white wine. Except the cooked mushrooms that was edible or tasty for some of us, all the rest weren’t tasty and felt very cheap and amateurs on the edge of an insult of being called food 😶.

The bread and olives which were served to us without our request upon sitting were included in the bill and were as described not enjoyable.

I hope it’s a coincidence and not a pattern,...

I jusr love this place. One of my friends took me here one night on the way back from Proença and I am very glad of this. The place was clean with a lovely atmosphere and a good menu. Some may say it is expensive but I felt happy to pay for a great meal that is presented in a good way and plenty on our plates. I would recommend this place however...

The highlight of this place is the old stone building and the traditional interior. It’s a shame the soup was cold, the bacalao a bras was too salty and pork with pineapple was bland. Prices are a little more than expected. Service was fine. Okay if you’re really hungry and...
