A must try if you're in the city of Lagoa. Authentic food at a very good price. You won't find anything like this by the beaches. All the restaurants and snack bars by the beach are very tourist-oriented, and there are NO Bifanas there! This place is an authentic hangout where locals go for a drink, and the Bifana sandwiches are simply incredible! On my trip I stop by here every day for a mid-day snack before going back to our place and rest for dinner. The owner João is very friendly and will greet you with a smile!

Could be better customer service and we did find few options based on chicken to satisfy our hunger. Convenient location with local parking spots around. Authentic cuisine, shame that we don’t eat red meat but we tried the cakes which were decent enough.

Could be better customer service and we did find few options based on chicken to satisfy our hunger. Convenient location with local parking spots around. Authentic cuisine, shame that we don’t eat red meat but we tried the cakes which were decent enough.

This place is excellent. Stumbled upon it after the restaurant we were going to was closed. Best bifanas I've personally had in Portugal. The pastries were incredible as well (we tried two because he gave us one for free!). Very nice owner, highly recommended if you're driving...
