Café "Forum" — Restaurant in Lagoa

Genuinely the best garlic pizza bread I've had by miles. The pizza wasn't bad either. We went on holiday staying locally and fancied pizza one evening. This isn't the obvious place to go given its location/it's not close to the local town/beach. That being said, this place is a hidden gem. What is effectively a community cafe/restaurant serves pizzas which isn't far off (genuinely) being Michelin star quality food. I'm probably being picky, it just needing some extra seasoning and it would be some of the best food I've ever had. Very unassuming and INCREDIBLY cheap. We had a starter, two drinks and two mains... I came here due to the high ratings and pizza pics looked amazing. This is where the locals hang out. I've visited 2x and can't get past the vegi pizza. They have homemade dessert too which I also enjoyed. Had arroz doce 1st visit and chocolate mousse 2nd. Consistently great. Friendly...

Nice, tasty and delicious pizza, not long was waiting for it. Polite customer service, owner really care about customers. Home made pizza with best topping ever in this area. Prices are balanced, pizzas medium size around 32/34cm. Highly recommend! We'll be back every time...
