My wife and I retired to Lagos 10 days ago from Texas. We were told about Pizza Do Frances by two locals, whom both agreed that this was one of the best pizza restaurants in town. We were not disappointed. The pepperoni pizza and Greek salad were excellent. Pepperoni is our test pizza for all new restaurants. The owner made the pizza and his wife was our waitress. Both are very friendly, like all of the Portuguese people we have met.
The crust was thin, crispy and had a great flavor. The salad was loaded with feta, black olives, red onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. I love that the dressing is simply olive oil and vinaigrette that you add yourself. No preserved and premade junk! They also make their own hot oil, which was new to me and common here. No dry pepper flakes like in the States.

Read moreBeautiful looking place, got seated very quickly even tho we did not have a resavation, ordered my pizza and it came very quickly. but! for me the pizza was drowning in cheese despite asking for very little cheese when ordering. So if u like ur pizza drowning it's the place to go. Was a bit over priced for a swimming in cheese pizza. Oh and EVERY pizza comes with olives even tho we didn't want them too. Ordered desert of chocolate I've cream but was way too over rich for me so partner ate it. I wouldn't recommendtthis place to anyone I know but each to their own. So overall I think I will...

Both times the check was under 18 euros and the spicy olive oil (hot!), regular olive oil and Parmesan cheese as condiments on the table were an added bonus. Staff was great and spoke...
