Small noodle place, chinese style.

The restaurant is slightly retreated from the street, and can easily be missed out if not for its billboard placed by the sidewalk.

The menu is straightforward and simple, a few soup noodles, a few dry noodles, a few rice dishes. Then some appetizers, drinks and desserts. It has a sweet plum tea (free refills) which I enjoyed very much. And the Chongqing Noodle was well served and tasty. It is an easy daily noodle experience, for a quick meal, which was missing in this part of town.

The restaurant's decoration is refreshingly non-traditional chinese. With its mustard yellows, anthracite walls and mirror panes, it is a welcoming set out for the small space that it is. (The truth is they inherited it from the previous samosa shop here, but it was the right decision...

Ate at their Roma branch previously and really enjoyed the food and service. Decided to order from Telheiras branch on Uber eats. Was not disappointed. Food was great as usual. What differentiates Big Bowl from other places is their attention to detail. The Chongqing noodles were separated from the broth and came in a thermic packaging bag. So our noodles maintained the springy texture and the soup was hot and hearty when it arrived. There was a good amount of meat and full egg. We also got panfried veggie bun. Our meal also came with a very thoughtful utensils pack with chopstick spork and toothpick. You'll appreciate having the toothpick after eating the tasty braised meat :D definitely...

Dishes don't make sense, extremely spiced shrimp bao. Don't get the pork belly rice, it wasn't good, looks like a student home made dish and tastes very average. No sauce at all on the plate, and on overcooked half small boiled egg.

Mochi was good. Service weak, they have japonese beers on display but not available to consume. The waiter was inexperienced although sweet, but got the drink order wrong.

Felt pricy for the quality of food served. I had one bao for starters, the pork belly rice dish as main, a mochi and an iced tea to drink and bill...

Absolutely amazing! What a shame we were in the area only on one occasion! We will try to come back just to visit the restaurant again! Delicious food, beautiful decor, crockery and furniture. The service was very kind and attentive, and you can tell the place is kept with a great lot of dedication and attention to detail. Oh and all of that for very very affordable prices too! Absolute must visit ❤️

Restaurante pequeno, acolhedor, boa atmosfera. Serviço impecável, atencioso. Comida servida rapidamente e fresca.
