The first round of dim sum we ordered were moderately good. However, the second round of orders came out all wrong. The prawn har gow had no detectable levels of prawn in it. It was stuffed with a very coarse, mainly flour based filling. This tastes bad and cuts costs at the expense of quality and flavour. The crystal skin for all items were made way too crudely thick. The prawn rice rolls are decent but served with too little sauce. The siew mai are small and dry without the proper silky mouth feel and lacking in a delicious stock. The xiao long pao had to be sent back for being much too dry and flavourless. Also it is apparently the soupless version.
Worst of all, it gave me and my dining companion a tummy ache which lasted for a day.
