Kaprixu — Restaurant in Lisbon

As per my taste of food and experience of most different restaurants I can say Kaprixu is one of the best restaurant in Lisbon I have ever tried. Amazing food, excellent quality of service, comfortable and cozy atmosphere in cold like 10⁰ outside. Most welcoming owner is very gentle and friendly with customers and try to give their best with their efforts and skills of life experience and knowledge of politics and different languages as well. Well trained staff and team members, nicely organised Indian instruments, well maintained bar and unique range of wines, special counter for Indian spices and pickles for customers. Visited on 6-Aug-2025. While taking the order, they didn't ask for any details on spice level or any other specifications. Got Paneer and Dal items with too much of sweat in it. At the end when we paid with credit card, guy messed up using the local bank exchange rate without asking us. Local banks charge a mark up of 5% if currency conversion service was selected on the terminal. When I pointed out the mistake that the guy did, he was not even ready to listen and left saying that he didn't do anything wrong. So arrogant and not service oriented. Just terrible. Never to repeat. In an empty restaurant they 45mins to serve us. Also the tikka massala tasted like pure sugar. The fish ashari was served with frozen fish throw to a grill, and also frozen vegetables. The owner was nice but the employees were almost throwing the cutlery and plates to the table.
