Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. My reservation was last night at 7:30 PM, and now it’s almost 8 AM, and I haven’t stopped vomiting and also with severe diarrhea, fever, intense stomach pain, I’m also very thirsty, my throat feels extremely dry, and I have severe heartburn..constant noises in my belly. Feeling very sick i couldn’t sleep at all due to what seems to be a serious food intoxication. I don’t drink alcohol at all so I know it came from the food I ate here. I had mixed tartar for start and combination of sushi and sachimi ! I’m not the type of person to complain, and I never do, but this situation is unacceptable. If this is not addressed properly, If i will end up at hospital today i will definitely have no choice than to request the complaints book! To make things worse, I have a flight this afternoon that I’ll likely have to cancel because of how sick I am. While the staff was friendly, the quality of the food especially the sushi was clearly not up to standard. I will not be returning and i will not recommend this restaurant to anyone ! 😭🤮🤒🥵

Quite the disorganized service: one waiter brought the menu, another served us drinks, the other took our food order, another served the food, another refilled our glasses, some more passed by to check if we had ordered, etc. Nobody is really there for you unless they try to upsell you. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly. If you’re looking for an outdoor upbeat dinner experience with party vibes, this would be the place for you. The dj plays EDM, pop and house music all night long and it seems to be busy every day. Regarding the food, we tried the duck bao, the filling was tasty, the bun however not warm and fresh/ fluffy enough. The pad thai was good, but my favorite was the the pepper garlic beef - super tender and tasty meat, I totally recommend ordering that. The wine list is quite poor so don’t expect to have much choice. Drinks are pricey, food pieces are ok, considering the venue’s extra vibe offering it’s fair.

I absolutely love this place. I have eaten there a couple of times and there was nothing I tried that wasn’t absolutely delicious. Beautiful decor, very spacious and with many different areas which is very convenient, as they can accommodate costumers to a more private or more “lively” ambiance. One thing is for sure at Bamboo, no matter which area you are seated, which nationality or if you are resident or tourist, the staff treats everyone with the same professionalism, care and friendly manner. The manager is an absolute sweetheart and the front of house team seems to actually be happy to be working there. Cannot wait to go back again!

If it was a possibility I would rate this restaurant a zero. We initially arrived a day before but came quite late and was told that the kitchen would be closing early, the host then asked us to come tomorrow and that they will have a table ready for us. upon arrival the following day we were greeted by what I can only assume to be a security guard who automatically said the restaurant was full and had no capacity - we could clearly and evidently see the empty tables inside the establishment. Anyhow, we did attempt to explain that we have a reservation as promised the night before which is when he (the security guard) went to grab the manager. We received the same reaction upon the managers arrival, despite having driven 45 minutes. Frustrated, as one would be we explained how we were told there was a reservation and that we would be happy to wait as we have driven far to come here. Both demonstrated clear signs of discrimination - typically we look Middle Eastern therefore being Muslims. Eventually, the manager did say that there was a one table outside - and they would have to get it ready before they allow us to enter. We patiently waited 20 minutes outside yet still nobody greeted us. That was the final straw and we decided to leave, luckily there was a wonderful restaurant much more friendly, respectful and elegant next door- Alambique, I strongly strongly recommend people to come here for a dinner. Regrettably, I must express my disappointment with the restaurant we visited for a special occasion. Despite being frequent patrons, our recent experience was far from satisfactory. While the culinary offerings were exceptional, the service was severely lacking, leaving us utterly dissatisfied. Our drink orders took an excessive 30 minutes to arrive, and subsequent attempts to place additional orders were fruitless, dampening our evening's enjoyment. The staff seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic, which was especially disheartening given the restaurant's purported upbeat ambiance. Furthermore, the evening's entertainment, provided by the DJ, concluded prematurely, further adding to the disappointment. The restaurant appeared understaffed, with only four individuals managing the bar for a full house of diners. Considering the substantial amount we spent, we rightfully expected outstanding and prompt service from the staff, characterised by a cheerful and welcoming demeanour . Regrettably, our experience led us to feel like an inconvenience rather than valued patrons. The food might be decent, but nothing makes up for such poor service — and worst of all, the blame does not lie with the staff, but with the terrible management. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, and the owners/managers not only refuse to help, they blatantly ignore the customers.

We were with children and waited 20 minutes just to place our order. The waiter, who was very polite, explained that he wasn’t allowed to take orders because only the owner and the manager were authorised to do so. Where were they? Standing in separate tables, laughing and chatting as if everything was fine.

The waiter went over to let them know we wanted to order, and all he got was a mere nod. He even tried speaking to other staff members, but “everyone was far too busy”. The truth? This waiter had already been punished before for taking food orders without authorisation, and risked losing his job if he tried to help us.

The result: 2 hours and 40 minutes to get our dinner. That’s not a delay — that’s a lack of respect. And as always, the “compensation” is a free drink or a token discount — as if our time and ruined experience were worth so little.
