HIDDEN GEM. This time we decided we would only visit new Restaurants instead of returning to the same ones year after year. Our table was in the garden which was full of beautiful flowers, with a view to the vegetable garden. My Husband had Pork with clams, I had Sole Meunier with a delicious bottle of Blush. Have been eating great food with quality service in this restaurant for over twenty years. It was not busy but alas our visit this week was plunged into the poorest service you could imagine. One hour wait for our starters and another hour before the main course arrived. All three serving staff were completely inattentive despite several chase-ups. I've been coming here for the last 5 years (10+ visits) and it has been consistently delicious, with professional and friendly service.

I've had the scallops to start every time and they're incredibly good.

I've had the monkfish/prawns, duck a l'orange and the beef stroganoff every time and they are all delicious every time.
