Each visit to this place has been so disappointing, and after this experience, I will never be returning or recommending it to anyone. The issues started when I simply asked if cheese could be added to the avocado toast, and the waitress immediately shut it down with, “no, my boss says no.” Then, the person who seemed to be either the manager or owner was unwelcoming and didn’t inform us upfront that the place was “cash only.” Instead, she pointed to several small stickers and brochures, as if anyone would notice the tiny print.

When I had to go out to find cash (especially challenging since ATMs were closed for the holiday), she made a sarcastic comment to my friend, saying, “HOW big am I supposed to make the note?” When I finally returned with cash, I expected at least an acknowledgment like, “sorry for not mentioning it earlier,” but instead, she responded with, “I will change the policy because of you and make people pre-pay so they know” — with an attitude implying it was somehow my fault she only accepts cash. The experience was rude, unprofessional, and lacked basic...

Highlight of Loule! We started our morning here before taking on the Loule markets and exploring the beautiful streets. We managed to get a table on the outdoor patio (and I without doubt could have sat here all day watching the world go by). Despite it only being 8.30am the market was already in full swing and cafe was getting busy. We had an amazing breakfast and the best coffee of our trip! Staff were so friendly despite being rushed off their feet. If you are visiting Loule this little cafe is a must! I hope to make it back...

One of the best speciality coffee spots in the whole Algarve and a much loved place by locals looking for quality beans. Not only do they serve them beautifully but they also roast the beans themselves nearby and put a lot of passion and dedication into their craft. If you want to drink real, artisanal, speciality coffee when in Loulé then this is the spot, we often make a detour just to come, also for the amazing homemade banana bread, Dutch apple pie and a chat with the lovely owner, Illona :) obrigada for doing...
