Hotel location is at quiet area near a very small park and it is in walking distance to city center. There are plenty of free parking slots around the small park. Our room has large windows facing the small park, very pleased. Room has computer desk, round table, bed table, a single sofa and a big bed. Lots of space to move around and store stuff. Bathroom is big too. There is an air heater in the bathroom so it can be warmed very quickly before shower. The light system for the bathroom is stupid though, need to follow certain sequence to turn on and off the lights using the 4 switches on the wall. Took us quite a while to figure it out. There is a nice roof with terrace and an indoor swimming pool. Although we Didnot use the pool but the room for the swimming pool felt very warm in winter. We did enjoy the sunshine and the view on the terrace. The breakfast room on the ground floor is very nice in a sunroom with greens. Breakfast is great, many options. There are also nice sitting area on the ground floor next to the breakfast room. It is nearly perfect but one thing we did find annoyed: there is coffee machine in the room but we need to buy the capsules (1euro each) separately from the front desk. It is not a common type of capsules (called Delta) so not worthwhile to buy from supermarket, although I do know the price is around 4 euro for 10 capsules from supermarket. I donot think it is worthwhile to cause inconvenience and hence negative impression from guests for 0.6 euro margin. This was the only unpleasant moment we had there. Could easily be avoided.

Extremely disappointed. Arrived to this hotel for a weekend stay. After one hour in our room found a bed bug on the headboard. Called reception and they came to look at it and they confirmed it was a bed bug. I was panicking and asking if they could find us another room which they could not. I asked if they had any contacts to local hotels or anything to help, which the receptionist laughed at and said no. I had to call local hotels in the area and eventually found somewhere to sleep for 150 euro for one night. We were told to return the following morning at 11am to speak with the manager and see how to proceed. When we arrived we were met with a receptionist who didn't really seem to care what the situation was and told us we could check in again at 3pm. We asked if there would be any compensation and he said they would deduct the price of one night (because we didn't sleep there). Complete nightmare beginning to our holiday, no apologies, no compensation, no help for an issue which was on their hands to resolve. I booked a hotel in vilamoura and asked for a full refund. Really disappointed in how the receptionist handled our concerns and I don't really trust that the matter was taken seriously in regard to inspecting the surrounding rooms for bed bugs etc. maybe this hotel is usually perfect and lovely but based on this hellish experience I cannot recommend anyone to stay here. I hope that the management team can learn to handle these situations better so that guests feel at ease after a potential exposure to parasites, massive health risk.

This is a wonderful hotel! It is kept clean and includes breakfast and has a small workout room and a pool on the roof. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to the Mercado, shops, cafes, and some very nice and affordable restaurants. It is within walking distance to a Continente supermarket and you can even walk to a McDonald's if you are insane enough to eat franchise food when much better affordable food can be found at Snack Bar Nacional. Hint: Ask the owner Carlos for their special bifana with grilled onions for a super tasty quick snack. The area around the hotel has a small town feel and is great if you want to get away from some of the more heavy touristy cities. The staff at the hotel are super friendly and kind -- Anna, Joel, Luis, Pedro, Sergio and others made our stay a fond and memorable experience.

The Jardim-Hotel Loule was a very nice town-hotel. Not too big and not too small. Very kind and friendly stuff everywhere in the hotel. For us it was a good point to start daily to any hotspots at the algarve from Sagres up to Tavira. The highlight was the pool on the roof. If we came back daily from our tours it was a pleasure to go inside to cool down again. Many sunbeds there if you want to stay longer at the pool. Another good point was the breakfast and the breakfasttime. The buffet was always filled again and it doesn't matter if it was already 10:45 ;-) We didn't miss anything at the buffet... And the cookies... very good! Not all rooms are very quiet (it's a town hotel) so ask before which type of room will feed your needs best. Our room (superior with a very large double bed) was very large with an extra single bed, two chairs, a desk, a big wardrobe with place enough, the bed looks similar to a boxspring and we slept very good. The hotel has four floors. If you aren't good to foot take the quick elevator. Furnishes and fitment of the hotel we liked very much. The hotel offers parking places in a garage but we've had never problems to get a parking place outside directly at the garden place/small park in front of the hotel. There were always good advices from the reception for example if we wanted to go out for dinner in the evening. As an option you can get orthopedic pillows at the reception for a small rental price. You should have a bit knowledge of english language if you are in the hotel ;-) We can absolutely...
