After shopping at the mercado next door we were looking for a nice place to eat. Flôr da Praça sprung out for its nice seating and what looked like locals dining here (always a good sign). We choose sardines and octopus. The octopus was lovely slightly crispy but perfectly tender and tasty. Topped with a generous amout of garlic and sitting in tasty olive oil. The sardines were of course also amazing, fat and juicy, and grilled to perfection. Service was friendly and although we lack the skill to order properly in Portuguese the non english speaking staff member was patient with us and everything work out fine.

Bustling and busy Portguese food. Very fresh and tasty. Octopus salad is one of the best I've had yet. Shank was perfectly cooked. Veal melted in your mouth. Lots of flavour too. And finally a place that doesn't totally overcook all the vegetables! Chips were great. It's one of the few places open on Sunday in Loulé, and will be busy on Sunday for lunch. Be prepared to possibly wait a little bit for a table, especially if it is a special weekend like Carnaval!

This was not a pleasant food experience. The chicken was raw in the thicker portions and the french fries were cold. I didn't bother to try the blob of white rice. When they asked how it was, I was honest and said it was the worst meal I have ever had. They charged me for the full meal even tho I didn't eat it. Do not go here. Many other options in town.

We were a large table (14 guests) on a Saturday morning. We waited more than 20 minutes to order drinks. Our fish tasted very basic (nothing like the fresh fish you can eat in Portugal). When we ordered green wine (assuming that the prices are always pretty reasonable), the most expensive bottles were given to us - 21 EUR per bottle. Our lunch lasted almost 2.5 hours due to long delays in receiving drinks and food. When we raised this with the management, they shrugged their shoulders and had nothing much to say. We only ate at this restaurant as O Pescador next door was closed. Don’t waste your time or money - people are unfriendly, the fish is NOT FRESH, your presence is a burden to them and they are very dishonest. Be sure to...

What an amazing experience this was! The best food and most authentic place where we have eaten in the Algarve in 10 days. The clams were already out of this world, but the shrimps are outstanding and the best I ever had. When I gave a nice tip as a gesture of my happiness, the whole team got excited and we were offered some nice port of the house. The service was so kind and real and the chef cook and owner comes to your table to see if you like the food. The value for money is amazing. We will come back for sure!!! Thanks for giving us the authentic...
