We were a large table (14 guests) on a Saturday morning. We waited more than 20 minutes to order drinks. Our fish tasted very basic (nothing like the fresh fish you can eat in Portugal). When we ordered green wine (assuming that the prices are always pretty reasonable), the most expensive bottles were given to us - 21 EUR per bottle. Our lunch lasted almost 2.5 hours due to long delays in receiving drinks and food. When we raised this with the management, they shrugged their shoulders and had nothing much to say. Read moreAfter shopping at the mercado next door we were looking for a nice place to eat. Flôr da Praça sprung out for its nice seating and what looked like locals dining here (always a good sign).
We choose sardines and octopus. The octopus was lovely slightly crispy but perfectly tender and tasty. Topped with a generous amout of garlic and sitting in tasty olive oil. The sardines were of course also amazing, fat and juicy, and grilled to perfection.

The clams were already out of this world, but the shrimps are outstanding and the best I ever had. When I gave a nice tip as a gesture of my happiness, the whole team got excited and we were offered some nice port of the house. The service was so kind and real and the chef cook and owner comes to your table to see if you like the food. The value for money is amazing. We will come back for sure!!!
