Brava — Restaurant in Loulé

Booked a table for 4 adults, plus two little children, they explained on the phone that the outside terrace is small and that there would not be a lot of space for a stroller. When arriving being welcomed by several lovely staff members and directed to a table outside with space for all of us! The location is beautiful, very cosy atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff who are always there when you need them, but never too present either! This Tapas style restaurant, makes that you want to continue ordering... All dishes are well created, professionally prepared and presented, with decent portions as well. The desserts seems coming straight from heaven! When looking for an unpretentious Tapas restaurant in the Almancil area, this should be on your shortlist! The last day of our stay in the Algarve we went to Brava in Almancil. My girlfriend found this place on a dutch blog called Barts Boekje.

When we came in around 8ish, it was almost already full. So we reccomend if you want to sit in the yard, please book a table beforehand. But still we got a very nice table inside the beautiful decorated restaurant, also close to the kitchen.

The food was wonderful and creative. Its a tapas concept, but next level! The chef is amazing, the restaurant was full but he still did have everything perfectly under control.

The service of the staff was also fast and on point. They even topped up our wine when we ordered a bottle, big compliment!

Our first visit to Brava was a great experience. Brava is a bold coloured but, slightly unassuming building from the outside but once inside….. this place is superb.

Tapas is a fantastic dining style and this place does it very well. The food and beverage menu was excellent and our party of four thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and washed it down with a great bottle of Taittinger.

Brava has an ample and charming inside dining area but also boasts a great outdoor should you desire.

Quality of food, environment and service was first class and I’m very happy to recommend Brava should you find yourself in Almancil Portugal 🇵🇹
