Worst restaurant I’ve been in a long time. Made a reservation for 7 people and waited over an hour to receive the first piece of steak. we arrived one hour after opening (18:00h) and were the first clients and only ones ordering meat. The service was awful, no explanation on how the rodizio works. Each service of meat took over 30 minutes, all the sides went cold. Would not recommend to ever come for the rodizio of meats with many people, they do not know how to handle and do not ask for the cuts you want, as well as zero explanation.
As regular clients of several steak houses, this has definitely been the worst and slowest. For €30, I don’t think we got our moneys worth in meats. As per the meat cuts, the T-bone was nice, tenderloin was the favorite, although is always good to have a hot stone, considering we had several pieces that were undercooked fully and no way of getting them to the right term. Sadly, this is a big miss for all of us.
Overall, biggest issue is the slowness in the food and the poor service, where they took 20 mins to even come with the bill and we had to get up and pay. Whenever they came where kind but overall, just not the experience i’ve had in any other steak house. Sushi seemed...
Read moreBoringly average & confused what it wants to be. You are given a menu of a selection of sushi (al a carte and a set menu) and a menu for steak but it just really seems they want to sell you a ‘fixed price’ sushi selection. We declined and ordered from the al a carte which really was probably the mistake we made. The ‘free’ amuse bouche was the best food that we had that evening 🤷🏼♀️ but the real disappointment was we ordered the king prawn tepanaki which only had 2 prawns on it and some veg all for a pricey €30. We asked the waitress to take the plate away as it was absolutely not worth the price. We didn’t really want to have a replacement, as why, when it only had 2 prawns?? but the replacement plate had more ‘bits’ of prawn on it but for the price it still was not worth it. We feel this restaurant caters more for people who want to pay €30 and receive a platter of sushi that the restaurant wants to give you. If that’s your vibe then you will like what you get given. The service is very slow,...
Read moreWhen we were in Almancil we never knew that it had soo much sushi restaurants in this region. We picked this restaurant based on the reviews and I have to admit I have no doubt what so ever why they had such a lovely reviews about the restaurant. So far this restaurant has served the best sushi I ever had. On same day we went for lunch and for dinner as it was amazing sushi. Lunch especially had a good mix with fried sushi and maki, but the winner was The sushi festival in the evening. It was amazing.. 4 types of appetizers and to follow with sushi on the boat, was like woow just amazing. All the appetizers was awesome, and they do have an appetizer to surprise you 😁 the staff is very good and No doubt it would be my fav sushi places to visit in Portugal.. one sad remark is that they are closed on Sunday, like why on Sunday would a restaurant be closed...
