Encantus - pizzeria — Restaurant in Loulé

The first warning sign was when we heard another customer saying his pizza was undercooked. When we received ours it was not hot and also undercooked, particularly the dough in the crust. When we advised them the excuse offered was that it was because the pizza had been sitting under a heat lamp. Naturally we dismissed this and we eventually got an apology when we showed them the inside of the crust could be rolled back into a ball of dough. Only an offer of a complimentary drink was offered.

Probably because it was undercooked, but the pizza base had little flavour. The tomato base also had little flavour and the toppings were sparse.

Then insult to injury came when we paid the bill by credit card and we had to pay, what I believe was their bank charge, for using the card!

Needless to say we will never...

New Review: I've came to this place some times now. Although the pizzas are still good and tasty, the service and the time you wait is to much. We spent over 2 hours to finish our course and had to constantly call the waiters, it seemed they were always in space and didn't notice the tables. When the owner was there, they were much more friendly and attentive. It's a shame...

We had a very pleasant time at encantus. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient. We had the bruschetta for starters and was very good, taste and portion wise. We had the diavola pizza with spicy olive oil, and it was indeed spicy, and very tasty. Top 10 best pizza no doubt. And I've been to Rome, Florence, Milan and Venice. We finished with the tiramisu. And this was by far the best tiramisu I've ever had. Moist and creamy. The space was cosy and warm. Oh did I mentioned the super friendly staff already? Thumbs...
