Staff were rude on arrival. We arrived and were skipped by one of the cashiers prompting a local skip us in the queue. Then after this another cashier with who appeared to have very little interest in taken our order took our order and said it was cash only which was fine after I discovered I had cash but while eating a local came in ordered and paid with card which tainted our experience and to be honest I didn’t really want to eat what we just purchased as I felt unwelcome in the place and couldn’t wait to leave. Entrei na loja por volta das 16h no primeiro sábado de agosto, e foram necessárias três tentativas para eu entender o que a senhora que atendia estava a tentar dizer: "Estamos fechados". Infelizmente, essa pessoa não falava bem português, o que me surpreendeu numa loja tradicional e local como esta.

Tudo bem, acontece! Mas o problema é que, na fachada da loja, os horários indicam: aberto todos os dias (exceto domingo), das 8h às 20h. A mesma informação consta online — nada indica que fecham aos sábados à tarde.

Conclusão: não consegui comprar o que precisava, perdi uma hora no trajeto e mais outra procurando uma loja alternativa, que felizmente respeitava os horários anunciados.

Eu (e a minha família) vamos à Fábrica da Amêndoa há anos, senão décadas (Amendoal), mas não voltarei. Existem outras lojas de qualidade, com bom atendimento, que atualizam os horários de forma moderna. Afinal, estamos em 2025, e há todas as ferramentas online — gratuitas — para evitar decepcionar os clientes...
