Marimba — Restaurant in Loures

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Dining here felt like stepping into a real-life episode of Kitchen Nightmares—but without Gordon Ramsay to shut the place down.

Flies were literally crawling inside my food. The cheese in the appetizers was stale, and the steak looked like it had been pre-cooked and reheated. Unsurprisingly, I felt sick after eating here. And to top it off, they bring out appetizers without telling you they’re not free—then sneak the charge onto the bill at the end.

I ended up paying 30 euros for this pile of garbage. The owner was just as awful, openly laughing at his employees for not speaking English.

This place is unsanitary, unethical, and an absolute disgrace. Avoid...

Do not ask for gin. Juices and food are good. I recommend the traditional bifana. EDIT 2025: I usually don't do this, but this one needs an update without having gone there. It seems to be always empty, but it's still open. The sign with its name is broken and it looks really bad, from the outside. sinceramente foi uma experiência péssima cheguei às 12h30 e, apesar de me informarem que estava tudo reservado, aceitei sentar-me na esplanada fizemos o pedido logo de início e, surpreendentemente, havia apenas quatro pessoas dentro do restaurante sentadas nós fomos os primeiros a chegar, naturalmente, esperava que o nosso pedido fosse o primeiro a sair. Mas não... só às 13h40 o meu prato chegou, depois de várias reclamações nem sei como consegui esperar tanto tempo estive sentada ali, desde as 12h30 até às 14h20 mais ou menos com o restaurante praticamente vazio com a mesma 4 pessoas sentadas lá dentro. Foi um total desrespeito com quem ali estava a comida demorou mais de uma hora a ser servida, o atendimento foi descuidado, sem qualquer pedido de desculpas, e ainda presenciei outras reclamações de clientes: reservas não anotadas, peixe mal tratado e impróprio para consumo... Infelizmente, uma experiência lamentável sem...
