Housed in a beautifully renovated, old traditional building, the restaurant exudes a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. It's clear a lot of care went into preserving its charm while creating a comfortable space – perfect for families. Now, let's talk about the food: the hamburgers are absolutely delicious! Each one was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. It's evident they take pride in their craft. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. They were great with our kids, making it a truly family-friendly experience. The server here met us in the street outside of the restaurant and asked us if we preferred to speak in English. We were grateful to him and said yes. He told us we could eat in the restaurant or outside in the courtyard near the church in the square. We chose outside. It was beautiful and the light breeze made the sunny day just perfect. My husband and I both ordered burgers. Mine was a cheeseburger and my husband has the "All In" burger. Both were terrific. The potato chunks/fries were really good as well. Everything was delicious. We went all in: soup (so soothing), appetizers (properly prepared olives, and delicious olive oil and bread), burgers (the camponês was frangrant, juicy, delicious), pasta (mushroom and bacon tagliatelle), more appetizers (crisp croquetas de alheira + cogumelos com linguiça), and then to top it off, the amazing lime tart. Our cicerone made amazing beer pairings, and the overall atmosphere was really lovely. We could not decide what we liked most... so I guess we need to return to settle this culinary...
