Hotel Bem Estar — Hotel in Lousã

Very good place. The staff is very friendly and the place have a familiar feel to it. The room was very clean and big ... with a good bathroom. It is located in central Lousa, close to everything and maybe 20mns walk to the river beach and the hiking trails. there are many info about local activities in the hotel. Its a "bike hotel".

Disliked · The breakfast was ok. The rooms have soundproofing problems.. at least mine. The pluming is noisy. Every time a neighbor room opens the bathroom water it was a big noise inside... but super noisy indeed. I had to wake up sometime at 6am because my neighbor is washing is hands...

A nice traditional hotel, very clean, nice room with pristine white clean sheets and towels, good hot shower, excellent value but avoid the breakfast which was disappointing with cheap coffee, white rolls, cheese and ham and unhealthy cereals, you can eat better in a bakery for less, and there are loads in town. This is the best place to stay in Lousã if you are a biker. The hosts are super helpful and even have a lot of tools and spare parts for bikes. The rooms are modest, but plenty nice and very affordable. The breakfast was great. But most of all, the family that owns this place is INCREDIBLY nice and will help you with anything. I cannot recommend this...
