Temple Sushi — Restaurant in Maia

TERRIBLE STAFF. FOOD IS OK Reservation accepted for 10 pm. served at the table at 10:20. We were offered a all you can eat . we accept and choose what was suggested. the first order arrived at 10:45 and before we even started eating the server said that they would close at 11 pm and that we had to decide at that moment if we wanted something else or not. that's when I asked: how will I know if I want more if I haven't even started eating yet? she replied: but we have to go home so you need to decided. from there the problems started. total lack of respect from the waitress. I asked to call the manager to make a complain . a woman appeared. Asian woman with glasses who identified herself as a manager. I complained to her. she wouldn't let me talk. rude, she said that what I had already eaten was already cheaper than ordering a la carte.

I swear I couldn't believe I heard that. I told her that it wasn't about the money but the fact of respecting us. if we can't repeat the all u can eat because we don't have more time, they shouldn't sell all u can eat after a certain time right? we asked for the bill very sad for the whole situation. that's when we went to the cashier to pay the bill. the asian was there at the register. she refused to accept my visa credit cards because she said she couldn't. so i offered dollar to pay because i didn't want my friends to pay the whole bill. she said no dollar but euro. that's when I said: you are a terrible manager. then she said: I'm not a manager I'm a friend of the owner and I don't work here. I asked for her name and she said she wouldn't give it to me. then I took my phone and took a pic of her. that's when she threatened me to call the police if I take a pic of her. my daughter started crying scared by all this. I registered in the complaint book. and she was still laughing at me and talking bad about me to the customers who were beside her. I have never seen anything like it anywhere in the world. So...

I went to this restaurant last weekend to have dinner and I got a really bad service by the waiter, he was very rude and unfriendly. It was my last dinner in Portugal and I am sad that I left the country with a bad experience, because all the other restaurants where I went they were always very polite and friendly, except in this place. The service was slow, I had to wait around 20 min just to make my order, then the waiter came to make the order and he didn't greet us or said anything, so I had to ask by myself what I wanted. I think I actually never heard his voice, even though I heard him speaking in english to other clients next to me table. Also, I was about to make a second order and he came to me and took the menu away from my hand without saying anything, which I found very rude and impolite. I decided to leave and then, when I wanted to pay, they didn't accept my credit card because they don't have international payment terminal. It's just sad that such a "good" restaurant has this...

Amazing value for your money. We were in a mood for Sushi so we dicided to give this small restaurant a try. Boy we were so happy to find out that it's all you can eat great sushi, sashimi, tataki and other great items on the menu. We couldn't stop eating, it was delicious and fresh. We started with egg rolls and fried shrimp, than we moved on to fresh Tuna, Salmon, and white fish. After the appetizer we ordered tataki tuna and teriyaki salmon.
