Foz Bar Beach Club — Restaurant in Marinha Grande

My wife and i went to this bar on 6/8/23. We placed our order, and it took an extremely long time for me to receive my measly pasteis de bacalhau and my wife her bifana sandwich. By the time my pasteis came out, my beer was warm. I finished my pasteis and my wife still had not received her sandwich.

Another thing that we felt was fishy, was when we asked for the bill. The waitress, with the very black hair, short stature, in her 20s, asked me if i wanted a coffee. I said yes. She brought it, and i drank it. She then came to us and just said "20 euros please". She had no receipt with the breakdown of our order. I had to ask her for the actual conta and the machine for me to pay. She was expecting me to pay without looking at the bill? She showed up with the bill when i demanded it, then said. "Oh, the coffee is not on the bill". I looked at the bill, and the coffee was not on it. If management sees this post, i recommend you look into...

Cet endroit semble exister uniquement pour arnaquer les vacanciers. Attention aux prix qui s’envolent avec une simple portion de frites (2/3 frites qui se battent en duel soit dit en passant) ou une simple boisson. Les prix ne sont par ailleurs pas tous indiqués dans le menu. Le patron est désagréable au possible et pas du tout commerçant. Le service est très lent mais les serveurs sont sympathiques et c’est bien la seule chose qui fait que je mets 2 étoiles. Nul ! N’y venez pas. Les autres bars sur la plage sont bien plus accessibles...
