We wanted grilled sardines and caldo verde. Both dishes were displayed on the menu at the entrance. Only the soup had an asterisk, suggesting we check availability. The waiter came to our table and brought us some "treasures": bread, a few olives, butter, a tiny cup of some kind of paste, and a dozen tiny cooked shrimp. While waiting for our order, we began nibbling on the bread and butter. When the waiter came to take our order, we learned that the sardines were out of stock and that the soup wasn't being served today. After much deliberation, we ordered half a liter of wine, one beer, and a half of "Bacalhau Especial" to sample, indicating the appropriate item on the menu. According to the menu, we expected a bill of around €31 (€5 + €5 + €21). When it came time to pay, the waiter brought the bill for €65.70. He explained that the cod portion was "Bacalhau Especial" for 40 euros, and the "waitings" placed on the table were paid for. None of us ordered them, and the shrimp, which were so small they were difficult to peel, cost 12 euros, more than the grilled sardines we wanted. The waiter, in a rather arrogant manner, raised his voice and insisted that we had ordered a "large portion of cod" and refused to entertain any arguments. We paid the bill and left, dissatisfied with the rude service. On our way out, I had to ask for a receipt, as the waiter had already charged us and left. I caution potential customers to carefully check their order...

We arrived at the restaurant at 21:30 and it looked super cute. We waited at the door and waited for someone to received us, we didn’t want to go straight away inside because of COVID.
The waitresses passed us 4 times, on the 5 time we said that we wanted a table and he said that they where not serving anymore and my friend said that the info of the restaurant says that the closure time is 22:30, so the guy used another escuse and said that they didn’t had anymore food.
It really looked like that they just didn’t want to “waste” they’re time with us, and made us look like stupid to fall in that story!
But in the end I’m glad not even staying there and eat in a place that looks like they choose who they want to serve.
And I end up having dinner on place with delicious food, good price and friendly people...
Read moreWe sat outside in a nice place and the staff were nice, so no problem here.
The problem was the cost-quality of the food: we paid €26 for a dish which only had one tentacle of grilled octopus. The dish was mainly composed by a lot of vegetables (filled 90% of the plate) and one single octopus tentacle. We even suspect that the tentacle was warmed in the microwave and not freshly grilled.
Another not-so-nice detail was that the soup was given at the same time as the main dish. This was not ideal because it meant she had to hurry up with the soup before the octopus tentacle went cold. The one tentacle.
The staff were nice though and we have nothing against the restaurant, but we do not...
