Xiringuito Beach Club — Restaurant in Matosinhos

Xiringuito is one of those faaaancy spots perched along the Leça coast, where the ocean crashes dramatically just beyond your overpriced-but-worth-it cocktail. We popped in for “just one drink” (famous last words) and ended up lingering like seagulls with opinions.

The vibe? Upscale, but relaxed. Think linen shirts, salty air, and zero pressure to chain-drink your way through the menu. The cocktail list is long enough to trigger decision fatigue, but the staff are patient and oddly soothing about it. You can deliberate over basil vs. bergamot like it’s a life choice — no judgement.

We grabbed some snacks too, because balance. Everything felt laid-back but polished, like someone ironed your beach day.

Did I feel slightly underdressed? Sure. Did I care once the drink kicked in and the view showed off? Absolutely not.

Great place to be with friends while enjoying a good drink and watch the view. Located in front of the beautiful ocean, Xiringuito is the perfect spot to watch the sunset while chatting with friends. Some really cool staff there as well, Victoria, Martin, Jorge.. always great to be assisted by them. Xiringuito has a mandatory and super tasty covert with juice olives and creamy tuna pate, great pizzas, amazing prawns, an unforgettable Risotto and much more.
