The place is super nice to spend lounging around and having brunch. Really nice views, space and feel.
Reservations are recommended, because otherwise seating won’t be optimal.
Staff is super chill and looks like they just walked off the beach, in beach shorts, wet hair, sandals etc. wasn’t sure who was working there or who was a patron coming off the beach i(t’s not on the water) but close enough where people go in their beachwear.
Now about the food. It was a beautiful day, so we wanted to enjoy with a refreshing sangria. We opted for the mango cucumber, and it was not our favorite. The apple flavor was from a syrup, and there was absolutely no cucumber taste or freshness. It was more like a Syrupy apply juice and in a country where sangria is amazing, this was a bit of a let down.
The hangover pancake was really not a pancake you expect as an American, but it was good nonetheless.
The salmon tartare was delicious and sitting over a breaded potato patty that was to die for.
My eggs Benedict was good, but had to much avocado smear, and some pumpkin seeds over it that I could do without. Next time I’ll tell them.
My husband liked his shakshuka but he wasn’t happy with where we were seated because we didn’t have a reservation.
In essence, the business has two sides, or buildings. One side is the restaurant with the kitchen and they other is the bar. In between both buildings you have a catwalk (which is covered) and the staff walks from one side to the other to serve the patrons. Well, we sat there and he just wasn’t feeling it. I didn’t mind, but some other may. It still had a pretty view over...
Read moreI was interested in trying the chicken Caesar salad, and wow did it not disappoint us. Let’s start with the location and ecstatics. There’s 2 different views, trees and street. Within the tree view you’ll find parrots flying around and interacting. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available. The views inside are just as nice and mesmerizing as outdoor. Outdoor seating is plentiful, covered and comfortable. If you follow the concrete path, you’ll find another outdoor seating area, covered with umbrellas. Overall, they can handle a large group of at least 8-9 people. Bathrooms for him and her are available and located next to the outdoor umbrella covered area. They have been clean and maintained every visit. Food and service has exceeded our expectation. Between the two of us we’ve ordered 3 different meals, and they were excellent. Zero complaints. Food is seasoned, and comes with a protein, carbs and veggies. Shot out to the cooks for being consistent and to the nice ladies taking care of the customers, you two did a great job. You’re aware of what’s going on, and you’re paying attention to people table. I have to end this review with telling you that the price point is perfect. The cocktails are a little more than what I want to spend, but with amazing food coming out of that kitchen, I can’t complain. We felt appreciated and respected as customers. Not treated like we’re...

We just had an unforgettable Sunday brunch at Hemisfério Brunch & Bar, and let me tell you — this place deserves every bit of praise it gets. From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were in for something special. The atmosphere is simply perfect: a spacious, beautifully designed garden with a stunning view that invites you to relax, unwind, and savor the moment.
But the real stars of the show? The food.
Let me start with the roast beef — tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. Pair that with their sliced potatoes, and you’re in heaven. I’ve had my fair share of potatoes in my life, but these? Hands down the best I’ve ever eaten. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with just the right seasoning to make you wonder how something so simple can taste so extraordinary.
The service? Impeccable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure we had a great time.
Hemisfério isn’t just a brunch spot; it’s an experience. Whether you’re looking to indulge in a hearty meal, sip on a perfectly brewed coffee, or simply soak in the breathtaking surroundings, this place delivers on every level.
Trust me — if you’re in the greater Lisbon area, this is the brunch spot you don’t want to miss. We’ll be coming back as...
