I Love Eat Francesinhas Oeiras — Restaurant in Oeiras

Excellent! I revisited the restaurant recently and I think it has new ownership who are originally from Porto. The francesinhas was awesome, maybe the best I have had in anywhere in Portugal. The staff was friendly and attentive and it is ideally located close to the beach. If you want to have (or try) a francesinhas in the Lisbon area I highly recommend! Also, the restaurant has Erdinger Weißbräu on tap which is perfect for me.

Supposedly great for Francesinhas, I tried the beef option which was ok, meat was a bit tough and sauce lacked flavour. The pork Bitoque was good. The service was a bit off from one of the waiters, who seemed to lack a smile on his face especially assuming that we were tourist and immediately telling us that they do not accept international cards and when I tried explaining that I had a local card, he had no listening skills. The place, as the name suggests, offers mostly francesinhas, a Porto style, grease-covered, meat-filled sandwich with additional ingredients that make the taste so unique. I've taken the standard version and it was delicious. The service was outstanding, as not only were we able to talk about the sandwich itself, but also had a small discussion about other topics.
