Disastrous Dining Experience at Palheiro

I recently visited Palheiro and had the most disappointing dining experience ever. The food was mediocre at best—bland, uninspired, and certainly nothing to write home about. It was the kind of food you’d expect at a third-rate cafeteria, not a place that claims to offer a variety of culinary delights.

However, the worst part of the experience was the service. The staff were unbelievably rude and intrusive. They seemed to be on a mission to make diners feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. There was one particular employee behind the bar who was exceptionally unpleasant. This individual approached our table and bluntly questioned how much we were eating, making us feel guilty for simply enjoying our meal. The accusatory tone and condescending attitude were completely uncalled for.

It’s one thing to have subpar food, but to couple that with atrocious service is unacceptable. The entire dining experience was ruined by the overbearing and discourteous staff, especially the bartender. I would not recommend Palheiro to anyone. Save your money and find a place that actually values its customers and provides decent food without the side...

The place has a large captive audience since Lagoas Park has very few options at the park. Being a buffet, you have a larger set of choices to choose from, making it (marginally) better than other places.

They have a "one plate" policy, I assume to disencourage people from getting more food. It's disappointing, because I come here exactly to try more variety of foods

I hope more direct competition opens up in the area, so this place can improve. It's my favourite...

Sempre gosto de ir no palheiro quando vou para o escritório, tem um “quase churrrasco”, digo quase por tem poucas opções de carne: linguiça, carne de porco e frango. Só que pelo preço 12/13€ com bebida está ótimo o que o churrasco oferece.

Tem o buffet para pegar a vontade com bastante variedade. Acho que se tivesse uma sobremesa ia ficar top!
