We would give this 10 stars if we could. Located just off the road, this restaurant was such a find. The service was super friendly from the start, the waiters asked if we needed anything explaining (as our native language is not Portuguese). We started with the sausage croquettes and they were to die for! Lovely crunchy coating with a soft delicious centre. Then we moved onto the Cataplana … WOW! It was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The seafood was cooked to perfection and I only wish I had a bucket of the sauce. Finally, the crème brûlée was a gorgeous way to end. Got in close to closing time and were relieved to be accommodated. Very very professional and friendly staff. The prawns in garlic tapas did not disappoint. Then there was a monk fish and seafood dish for two which came with an assortment of crab, mussles, shrimp, chip-chip in a beautiful rich broth with well done potatoes and onions.
