I wasn't dressed up but was still seated...good start. The table was preset with prosciutto and melon 11 euros, 4 large boiled shrimp 14 euros, bread 3 euros and tuna salad/pate 3 euros. I ordered from the appetizer menu. The soup of the day was a small cup of pureed broth of shrimp and fish with croutons. I did not see more than one tiny chunk of shrimp and two tiny chunks of fish...the size of a pair of dice. But there were 9 croutons! It tasted ok :0/ I ordered the shrimp with garlic oil. Overcooked shrimp in tasty garlic oil. Nice surroundings, but these basic dishes were a let down...coming from a Texas Gulf Coast girl who KNOWS what fresh/unfrozen good seafood is in all forms. Total bill 48 euros with a glass of wine. I looked at other dishes on the way out...the seafood rice looked watery. The waitress was busy but polite. I don't know if I will spend this much money here again. :0/ ...

One of the worst restaurants in the neighborhood. This place is so over-rated and expensive for what you get in return. The waitress brought me a bunch of appetizers which I didn't order so refused. But she acted like she didn't understand English and left them on my table. By the way, she later conversed with me in English. The soup was so salty and half cold. It felt like it was cooked a long time ago and they used a microwave to heat it up. The main dish also was so salty and taste-less. I think their chef is heavy on salt. The ambience was okay. They tried to impress me with the fresh seafood on display at the front. But overall experience is terrible since the food is sub-par. There's this Michelin rated sticker at the front door which is surprising. I would not go back...

24-08-2020. Vamos con frecuencia a Portugal y desde hace muchos años vamos a comer a este restaurante. Es más caro que la medida pero siempre ha valido la pena. No obstante lo de ayer fue muy decepcionante. Llegamos a las 21 horas con reserva y nos dieron la mesa. Enseguida notamos a los camareros como con mucha prisa. Una vez vista la carta preguntamos si podían servir el arroz de marisco sin "cilantro" ya que es una especie que no nos gusta. Nos dijeron que sin problema. Tomamos unas ostras, croquetas y los típicos entrantes que ya te ponen sin pedirlos. Hasta ahora todo correcto. Vino el arroz y venía con "cilantro". Le reclamamos a la camarera y enseguida vino y nos lo retiró, nos dijo que no era el nuestro y que enseguida vendria. Vino otro camarero nos retiró los platos de mala gana u nos "tiró" otros en la mesa al igual que los cubiertos. Al cabo de 15 minutos vino otro arroz, este sin "cilantro" pero el que lo hubiesen hecho con mucha más prisa hizo que el sabor y la cocción no fuera la correcta. No digamos nada y pedimos unos postres y le pedí a la camarera que su tenía "aguardente vella" me trajese un chupito. Me trajo una que no la llegue a beber ya que estaba muy fuerte. Pedimos la cuenta, 127 Euros, y veo que nos cobra por el chupito 19 Euros lo que amén de parecerme una exageración me pareció bien impropio que un profesional no te lo indique cuando el precio de un "chupito" representa el 20 por ciento de la cuenta. Le pido explicaciones y lo único que me dice de malas formas, que es eleel precio que figura en la carta. El maitre que estaba viendo nuestro enfado ni siquiera tuvo el detalle de venir a la mesa a interesarse. Pagamos y nos fuimos, por cierto ni nos dijeron buenas noches.
