We stayed in a rental home for a few days. Just about 200m away from here.
It's located right at the beach, has a lot of tables inside and also a wonderful outside area with lots of tables and an outside bar.
We had our dog with and didn't expect anything. But they were nice enough to let us have a table outside on the terrace with the nice views. Only a limited bar menu was available outside, but that didn't matter, since the food was fantastic.
We came here twice (almost three times - but one night was so busy inside, that they closed the outside space) and enjoyed both dinners very much.
Staff was really friendly and served us meals outside when they didn't have to, thanks for that.
We had a francesinha sandwich, the crab and a ham/cheese platter for the first night. Bottle of White with that. Only set us back around 30 Euros! The francesinha was great, sauce was amazing. The ham and cheese were ok, but still good value. Nothing short of brillant was the crab. The right mix between crab meat, sauce and spices. Only 8 Euros! Wine was nice and cold.
Second dinner we took the crab and francesinha again, loved it so much the first time. Another bottle of White...all in all for 25 bucks.
Fantastic value here. Great location, nice staff, good food. The whole package....and it's so low-priced for a beachfront restaurant. Just be aware that on weekends it's absolutely packed inside. Be prepared to wait for quite a while....or...
Read moreWorth coming just for the beautiful view! The lunch time rush is quite apparent as this place. It was fully booked when we were there which was about 14:30. Although we did not have to wait long to be seated. The service was kind and prompt. Worth noting that if you rely only on English to communicate you may struggle a little here. Also, you may feel abit out of place in your Camino gear because the general dress code was nicer than exercise gear to say the least. Food was ok for the prices although we got only got salads and everyone else was eating heavier carbohydrate dense dishes. Overall,...
