Calé - Portuguese Traditional Confectionery — Restaurant in Peniche

This place, looks nice and has plenty of beautiful cakes, that I'm pretty sure are good. But the system to order there is really weird and did not make any sens to us. Unless you come here everyday for years and know the menu by heart. You have to get a ticket to order and once it's your turn you have to be really quick but there no obvious menu anywhere. Because we got lucky we had to deal with the most unpleasant waitress, she was talking to us like s** and seemed so annoyed that we did not know what tea we wanted when there is absolutely no display to see what is available, same for the breakfast items we ordered, everytime we akes something she seemed even more annoyed like if we were stupid to not know what's on the menu when there is not really a menu and when it is our first time here. We understand that the things can work differently than in other countries or other place but then you have to be ready to explain your way to the customer. Because in most place you have a menu and you choose and then your food come and then you pay. And when you order and pay before you get your food, then you have a clear menu on display on the walls. At the end we just felt stressed out and we were rushed into a decision we did not really understood. Oh yeah and just a thing we are sunday morning so not the most stressful day in the week ... Still not all the waitress were like that and most of them were nice and helpfull even if they seemed amused that we don't know how the things works in...

Numa ida a Peniche entrei na Confeitaria Calé para comprar pão, no entanto comprei também um pastel de nata e um mini pão de ló, paguei e vim para casa. Ao olhar para a conta verifiquei com enorme espanto que sem me avisarem me cobraram 0,20 € pela caixa onde transportei os 2 bolos. Não me foi perguntado se queria a caixa para transporte dos bolos, ou se tinha trazido de casa uma caixa ou um tuparwer. Nunca em Portugal quando vou a uma pastelaria comprar bolos me foi cobrado um valor para os transportar. Aviso todos os potenciais clientes que queiram comprar bolos ou levam de casa uma caixa ou melhor ainda basta ir às outras pastelarias existentes naquela praça e comprarem aí pois esses comerciantes não têm esta postura. Se me tivessem dito que me iam cobrar a caixa eu teria saído da pastelaria e ido a outro lado comprar os bolos. No final fiquei com a sensação de ter sido enganado/roubado. Nunca mais compro bolos naquela pastelaria e acho que todos os seus clientes deviam pensar se esta é uma...

Il sistema per le ordinazioni però è stressante e caotico perché bisogna prendere un numerino, posizionarsi in coda e quando arriva il proprio turno ordinare velocemente. Sarebbe un sistema efficiente se il cliente avesse la possibilità di consultare il menù nel frattempo o di scegliere guardando i prodotti esposti in vetrina. Tuttavia non è così immediato trovare il menù (ce ne sono solo alcuni cartacei sparsi sul bancone) e i prodotti esposti non hanno nessun tipo di etichetta che spieghi di cosa si tratta e gli...
