Great atmosphere, but everything is ruined by the terrible service and the poor quality of the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, which was nothing more than coffee with horrible hot milk (the cheapest one you can buy at the Continete) and a strange foam on top. The waitress was rude. I wanted to make her job easier by ordering at the counter and taking the cappuccino to the table myself, but as soon as I started placing my order, she repeated twice in a monotonous voice, "At. The. Table. Please." Also... while I was sipping the cappuccino, I started to suspect that the milk was not almond, as I had requested, but oat milk, which worried me since I am celiac. When I asked her which milk she had used, she replied, "The one you ordered," but at the same time, her colleague was checking the ingredients on the oat milk package. I left the cappuccino there... it s really disappointing since the location is super nice, but in three years, I didn't see any improvement in the products as well as in...
Read moreHorrible experience! Waited +40 minutes for a croissant and a coffee that I needed to ask three times for it. When it served first the croissant was totally dry, I ordered at 10:30 am so it has ti be form the day before. I mentioned to the waitress but she did not care, she just took it out from the table and did not offer any kind of solution, not even asked if I wanted to eat anything else or offer the menu again. After 15 minutes I had to remember again for my coffee, when it came expectations were right and it was tottally a lost of time and money, it wasn't any good. I ordered a coffee with oat milk, and clearly that was not even drinkable.
Hope they train their staff and take mkre care on how procedures should be arranged on taking orders, writing them on their system, customer...
Read moreGood location (almost next to the station), around Casa de Música metro station, there are several local cafe/diners and this one is relatively new amongst them and very nice and simple interior and terrace area. Food is nice, serving breakfast, brunch & lunch. They are simple but good ones and vegan friendly. I should have given 5 stars, but less friendliness of staff compared with others and being charged €4.7 for tiny Tosta de mista (it is not even in the centre of the old city in Porto) are the reason. But its ginger/lemon drink was good and overall it was a nice...
