Long wait and rude waitress. It's was busy when we arrived so we waited to be sat. We offered to sit at the wooden bench and put the umbrella up ourselves. Having sat there nearly 15minutes and long decided what we were having, a 2nd waitress came to us but instead of asking for our order said we needed to move to one of the tables for 2 that were now available. She wasn't nice or friendly about it but was insisting even though we didn't want to move at that stage. We had the soup of the day and fish - everything was very fine ! It’s good to see, that it is no problem to share a meal - the waitresses were very friendly and it took just a moment for a fresh and cool beer - great!! After the meal and an espresso/ cappuccino we tried fofas - fresh prepared it is a sin and we had to take another 5 sins with us ;-). Great local place. Service was a bit slow but you have 2 amazing young ladies waiting on a packed place with only 1 cook in the back. So allocate enough time here and expect maybe a bit of a delay.

I had the cod fish and was one of the better grilled fish on the island. Crusty skin on the outside and soft and naturally salted on the inside. My boyfriend got the swordfish and it was grilled very well.
