I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food this eatery has to offer. We went there quite late in the evening and the place was still open for service. Although he was working alone, the waiter/manager handled the constant flow of customers, both eating in and take away, most efficiently and gave excellent service. 🇧🇷 I had the salmon wrap which came with chips or French fries, as some people like to call them. Great spot for lunch, very reasonably priced. We had the soup of the day which was amazing, and the mains were around €7. The pastéis de nata were super fresh. Staff were lovely and all spoke English. It also seems to be a popular lunch spot for locals, as there were quite a few around. Amazingly charming local bar in the heart of Povoação. The menu is in Portuguese, but the incredibly attentive and polite waiter explained us everything. We had hand made burgers and home made fries, juicy chicken breast with home made fries and salad, local Kima passion fruit lemonade, and white wine from the tap. Everything was super good.
